Brief Description:
The aim of the project "Path to Automatic Recognition of Qualifications for Access to Higher Education 2" (ARAQUA 2) is to continue the research on qualifications for access to higher education (HE) in the partner countries of the project in order to map qualifications for automatic recognition and expand the use of recommendations on automatic recognition developed in the first phase and other tools designed to support the practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications for access to HE. In the context of the project, qualifications for access to HE include both general and vocational qualifications of upper secondary education, which provide their holders the right to enroll in higher education programs.
The main objectives of the project are:
- mapping qualifications for access to HE in the partner countries of the project according to the criteria set in the ARAQUA 1 project to assess their compatibility with automatic recognition;
- facilitating the use of recommendations and exploring other tools or projects to support the practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications for access to HE;
- strengthening the discussion between ENIC/NARIC offices and higher education institutions on the practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications for access to HE.
