Implementation of Revised Priorities of the European Agenda for Adult Education – National Coordinators for Implementation / ERASMUS-AGENDA-IBA

Implementation Period:

2022 – 2023.

Donor:

Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) / ERASMUS +

Project Goal:

In accordance with the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to join the European Union and the strategic framework defined in the education and employment development strategies, the main goal of this project is to further improve the adult education system towards diversifying the offer of accredited market-relevant non-formal training programs for adults, increasing the relevance and transparency of the educational offer, as well as promoting dialogue and developing social partnership in the field of adult education. Within the project, activities are planned to modernize qualification standards as a starting basis for the development of market-relevant non-formal training programs for adults, as well as preparing content for entry into the Sub-register of JPOA, which relates to JPOA and accredited programs of non-formal training. Special attention will be paid to analyzing various options for systemic solutions for implementing the qualification concept for employment in the context of improving mobility in the labor market, as well as analyzing the possibilities of implementing these solutions in the education system of the Republic of Serbia. These reform endeavors of both the education system and the employment system represent a driving force for the development of a functional market for non-formal training programs and are part of addressing the issues of misalignment between the adult education system and the needs of the economy, social and personal development, the problem of an underdeveloped and unsustainable system of social partnership, the problem of lack of quality standards and coordination in the process of developing qualifications and training programs, their implementation, etc.
