ENIC/NARIC center
The ENIC/NARIC Centre is an organisational unit of the Qualifications Agency that implements the process of recognition of foreign school documents. The procedure for the recognition of foreign school documents is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on National Qualifications Framework of Serbia ("Official Gazette of the RS", no. 27/18), unless an international agreement stipulates otherwise.

Based on the Opinion of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, number 612-00-00319/2022-06 from March 14, 2022, foreign higher education credentials obtained at accredited higher education institutions with instruction conducted outside the home country can be recognized if the home country guarantees the quality, which is proven by the accreditation of the home institution and the program attended outside the home country or by the accreditation of the program attended outside the home country by the founder.<br /> The Agency for Qualifications will begin recognizing diplomas from higher education institutions that:
Are obtained at a branch of a university whose headquarters is located in another country
Are obtained at a university that has accreditation in another country, in which case the Applicant for recognition of a foreign higher education document is required to provide, in addition to the documentation prescribed by the internal procedure of the Enic/Naric center of the Agency for Qualifications, also an official confirmation of the quality of education abroad issued by the accredited home institution (institution of headquarters).

ROLE OF THE CENTER
Collecting and providing information in the process of recognizing public documents obtained abroad;
Conducting the evaluation process of a foreign study program for employment purposes;
Providing information about independent higher education institutions and the education system, for the recognition of domestic higher education documents abroad;;
Comparing domestic and foreign education systems, duration of education, and curriculum;
Assisting in the work of the commission formed by the director for giving expert opinions in the process of the first evaluation of a foreign study program; participating in the work of the expert commission for determining facts significant for decision-making, as needed;
Cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collecting data necessary for the process of recognizing a foreign educational document;
Receiving requests for the recognition of foreign educational documents;
Conducting the process of recognizing foreign primary and secondary educational documents;
Conducting the process of recognizing foreign primary and secondary educational documents; conducting the process of recognizing foreign higher education documents for employment purposes (professional recognition);
Keeping records and archiving documentation on the recognition of foreign educational documents;;
Networking with ENIC/NARIC centers and other organizations involved in the recognition of qualifications.

Other tasks in accordance with the law, the Statute, and other general acts of the Agency.
